BriefFlow is invite-only — there's no public sign-up. An administrator brings you into the workspace, and what you can see and do from that point on is driven entirely by the role they assign you.
The onboarding flow
- An administrator invites you by email, choosing a role (Administrator, Developer, or Tester) and your job title.
- You receive a branded invitation email with a link.
- Opening the link takes you to an acceptance page where you set your own password.
- Your account activates immediately — no separate approval step.
- You're signed in and land on your dashboard.
- The navigation you see from then on is shaped by your role's permissions — an Administrator sees Users, Projects, Reports, and Exports; a Developer or Tester sees their own board and assigned work.
What to do first
Once you're signed in, where you go depends on what you're there to do:
- Assigned work waiting on you — start on My Board, your personal Kanban view.
- Reviewing someone else's understanding of a task — see Understanding.
- Creating and assigning work — see Tasks.
- Running QA — see QA.
- Tracking a release — see Releases.
- Reporting on delivery — see Reporting.
If your invitation expires or you lose the link
Ask the administrator who invited you to resend it from the Users page — invitations can be resent or revoked at any time before they're accepted.
